Sample Answer

Do you often go to library?

To be honest, I don’t go to the library very often because of the lack of updated resources. The selection of books in the library in my school seems to be outdated and doesn’t have the materials I need for my studies. It’s disappointing because I love to read and expand my knowledge, but the library just doesn’t have the necessary resources.

No, actually I never go to a library. The reason is that there’s no library at my school and the closest public library is pretty far away, so it takes a long time to travel there. Instead, I often choose to study either in the comfort of my own home or at a nearby coffee shop.

What do you usually do in the library?

When I do go to the library, I usually use the time to study with classmates. It’s a great opportunity to learn from my peers and collaborate on coursework. We usually gather there after class to work on assignments and study together. It’s a great way to stay on track with our studies and make the most of our time in the library.

Did you go to library when you were a kid?

No, I didn’t go to the library when I was a kid. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a library at my primary school, so I never had the chance to visit one. Even if there was a library, I probably wouldn’t have gone. My interests as a child were focused on comic books and graphic novels, rather than traditional novels and textbooks. So the library wasn’t really a place that I felt drawn to.

Do Vietnamese kids often go to library?

Well, I don’t think so. Vietnamese children tend to have limited leisure time. This is because they already spend extensive hours studying both in school and at supplementary classes. Thus, they prefer to engage in non-academic pursuits like playing sports, hanging out with friends during their free time rather than reading academic and informational books in the library.

Well, I wouldn’t say so, because the book collection in most libraries in Vietnam is not geared toward children. The majority of the books are lengthy novels that can be challenging for children to comprehend. Furthermore, these books often lack visual appeal and are missing key elements that children find attractive such as artwork and vibrant colors. So, the library might not be an appealing place for Vietnamese children.
