Yes, I’m guilty of always staying up very late at night. There’s just so much work that needs to be done, from completing assignments to studying for exams. And the temptation of my phone is also a contributing factor. I often find myself scrolling through social media or watching trending videos on Tiktok before bed, which not only consumes a significant portion of my bedtime but also makes it more difficult for me to fall asleep. As a result, it’s common that I have a hard time waking up in the morning and it can be a struggle to start the day.
No, I don’t frequently stay up late. I need to be up early in the morning to make sure I’m not late for school, so I prioritize getting enough sleep by going to bed at a reasonable hour. Besides, staying up late would negatively impact my day. It would make me feel tired the whole day and I would not be able to do anything productively.
No, I did not stay up late when I was a kid. Back then, technology was limited and I wasn’t exposed to screens before bedtime like many kids are today. This made it much easier for me to fall asleep and get a good night’s rest.
When I stay up late, I usually spend my time scrolling through Facebook or watching trending videos on YouTube. I find myself endlessly scrolling through my social media feed, catching up on what my friends are up to and learning about new things. Sometimes, I also watch hilarious videos or insightful vlogs to pass the time. It’s a good way to relax and unwind after a long day.
When I stay up late, I would typically feel very fatigued/exhausted the following morning. Sometimes, I may even oversleep because I couldn’t hear the alarm ringing. Then getting out of bed can be a real challenge. And when I get to work, it’s common that I feel groggy and disoriented, which makes it hard to concentrate or stay alert. I would end up wasting at least half of the day just to recover and get back on track.
